Hello,
I was doing a google search for The Pole drive-in restaurant in Indianapolis and your website from Dec. 23, 2006 titled "sandwiches" was listed. Actually, your blog was the only one I could find about The Pole.
Anyhow, I read "sandwiches" and I started reading some of your other posts and found them to be fascinating. I was born in 1946 and raised right here in central Indiana, where I still reside and I graduated 1965. I'm only about 9 years behind you.
From what I've read so far, you and I are very similar in our way of thinking and responding to situations. I will continue reading your past blogs. I like reading your historical facts, like the cabin Jesse James hid out in. Your posts are very interesting and well written.

Gayle, it was just posted because I liked the graphic. However my computer seems to have blown a gasket. All I get is the black screen with hydroglyphics or tossed chicken bones. Gonna have to truck it off the the local guru tomorrow. I'm on my wife's computer tonight.
