Maybe someone can explain to me why so much money and effort is being applied to the production of Ethanol from corn. Why aren't they creating biofuel from beans? It makes sense to me that if they wanted gas.....
Well, THAT made me ponder. While they are in fact producing biodiesel from soybeans http://www.energyfarms.net/node/71 I'm thinking based on info at http://www.heptune.com/farts.html the common Mexican Jumping Bean may be preferred for 0-60 acceleration. :)

and there wouldn't have to be any huge petro plants. Just feed people and hook up.
My husband creates gas from beans all the time but this isn't the energy alternative I prefer.
