It ain't to fence me in
Thursday, October 26th, President Bush authorized the construction of nearly 700 miles of fence along the U.S. Mexican border. The bill authorizes Homeland Security to use cameras, unmanned planes and satelites, as well as creating more checkpoints, improved lighting and vehicle barriers.

Yes, finally! Of course Fox is screaming his head off. He has absolutely no shame that his country is in such a mess! GRRRR!
You guys got a long way to go.... hopefully, it get's expanded. Seems kind of strange that you have so many assets between Montana and Alberta, and hardly any on the southern border. Must be all us nasty conservative types up here.
AB, Like so many things our government does, they were holding the map upside down.
I've heard so much pessimism about this, and from fellow conservatives! "It won't do any good, they'll just dig tunnels under it."
"They can't fence all of it in. The terrain is too rough."
"It's a day late and a dollar short."
Yes, they'll dig tunnels under it, but it will certainly slow the flow. I'm not sure the terrain is too rough. We build highways over some mighty rough terrain in this country. I agree that it's a day late and a dollar short, but it's also better late than never, and it's a start!
Dang, pessimism is running rampant out there! I prefer to be thankful for the smallest of favors.
Oh, by the way, hello again, Fish. :)
Thanks for your awesome response to that liberal on my blog.
The fence news is awesome!!!!!!!!
LMC you're welcome but I doubt it served any purpose. I was talking to a liberal after all.
